2010. What are your Goals?

As it is my birthday, I'v realized by the results I'v had in the past year that this year is going to be my prime. To optimize my fitness I have been cycling through bulking and cutting phases which has been keeping me off plateau and always showing noticable gains.
I'v decided that this is year I'm going to reach the top. Reach a level of fitness I may never reach again in my life. How am I going to do this;
Workout: 5 Days a week
Stretch: Everyday, even if its 5 minutes or less.
Core: Everyday
Nutrition: Cycle the calories-when I bulk, eat bulky, when I cut eat lighter and more frequent.
Being in top shape boosts, energy, confidance, self-esteem, makes you more productive and that much more capable of handling whatever the world is going to throw at you next.
My advice to everyone is never take your body for granted. You could be injured tomorrow or get sick today.
This is your chance to prove to yourself that you are capable of reaching goals that take more than just a temporary new years resolution to fix.
If you are looking to set a new goal for the new year, weather its to get leaner, gain 5 pounds, Squat 3 plates, Jump 3 feet. Write down your goal below, and in the future you can check back, comment and see if you met your challenge-
my new years resolutoin is
my new years resolutoin is to lose body fat and gain more muscle. i already work out 3 days a week and go for a jog on my tredmill every other day. but i want to start swimming, jump ropeing, sprinting, and boxing, which i found out from guides on this website are very good excersize.
oh and right now i weigh
oh and right now i weigh 165, 15 years old and im 5'7. i can bench 100 pounds right now. i want to be able to bench my own body weight by the end of this year.
Good goals, Nick.
Good goals, Nick. Definitely lift weights to lose the body fat--that's actually better than doing lots of extra cardio.

my goals are to gain 5-8
my goals are to gain 5-8 pounds of mass, to then cut down and be lean. i will be the fastest, most dynamic, hardest working individual at the gym - i will be the guy people look at and think "I wish I worked out that hard". By the end of this year, I will be at the top of my physical fitness. I will also join a mixed martial arts gym to use my strength in a productive outlet.
To accomplish my goals, I will be working very closely with Dylan (personal trainer). I will parallel the compound exercises with proper nutrition, while limiting my cardio, and maximizing my core training. Not sure how the cutting stage will look like, but I'm sure I'll adapt.
I'm pretty excited to get this year going, can't wait for the results!
Good luck to everyone, and Happy New Year :)
A good idea would be to take
A good idea would be to take a before and after pic every month or two, so by the end of the year you can see your progress through the whole year. Also, writing down what you did each month, you can pinpoint what gave you the best changes.
I guess my ultimate goal is to get better at everything. Ex: Stronger, Leaner, more stamina, Bigger, ect...
I don’t really want to focus on one thing because then the rest might suffer.

Ohh BTW, when taking before
Ohh BTW, when taking before and after pics, remember to take them in the same spot with the same lighting and at the same general time. You want to avoid taking before and after pics in different lightings because it can skew your results. Ex: may make u look leaner, or bigger.

Me goals start in gaining a
Me goals start in gaining a super cardio along with a natural bull strength for cage fight
How do i get this.. well training heavy weights on the gym. Power lifts like squats, dead lift, bench press, clean and press olympic style and finishing with all out 20 secs sprints 2 days a week. Other 2 days functional 10 station circuit 1 minute each station and constant reduction of rest time between stations. This for cardio and endurance. Besides this, training MMA, BJJ and Spetznas SAMBO alternating monthly. Also after 4 weeks of this workout i will take a whole week of rest then start again.
>=D wish me luck, i want to be like George Saint.P
My new goal is to get to 190

Jamie if you want to be the
Jamie if you want to be the "hardest working individual at the gym" you gotta go through me first. Lets go buddy, gym 2x a day COMON
My goal is to maintain the lean muscle mass that I've built during the clean bulk challenge while stripping the fat off my body.
I plan doing this by keeping anabolic with 6 protein meals a day while hitting the gym twice a day. Morning Cardio session for 40 minutes, training at night with a 20-25 minute LISS cardio session to follow.
Glutamine and protein before every cardio session should help me keep my lean muscle mass while cutting the fat away.
Secondary goals are now that this website is getting more traffic is to make improvements to it. I recognize the writing section for comments and guides is out-dated and could use a wizzywig editor as long as other navigational aspects and general workout guide filtering.
Final goal by the end of 2010 - > 185 pounds, sub 7% bf.
I'm currently at 11% bf & 186 pounds so it's going to be a hell of an goal. Lots of muscle to build and lots of fat to lose.

2 times a day hey...now
2 times a day hey...now you've got me intrigued. I DARE you to try and work out as hard as me Justin, just won't happen.
First gym session is a cardio session, second is a weights session? Starting tomorrow, that is my new plan. I'm also 11-12 percent body fat, and my goal is to get to 9 percent in as short as time as humanly possible!
haha, by summer...i will be CUT!!
